Aaron Neinstein, M.D., Director, Clinical Informatics
UCSF Center for Digital Health Innovation
Dr. Aaron Neinstein, associate professor of medicine at UCSF, leads the Digital Patient Experience team at the UCSF Center for Digital Health Innovation. His digital health resume includes leading UCSF’s ambulatory Epic EHR implementation, development and deployment of numerous digital health solutions transforming digital patient experience and virtual care delivery across UCSF, research and advocacy advancing U.S. federal health policy in interoperability and patient data access, and co-founding Tidepool, a nonprofit creating open-source software to empower people with diabetes. Dr. Neinstein was an inaugural inductee as a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (FAMIA). Board certified in endocrinology, clinical informatics, and internal medicine, he maintains an active clinical practice focused on the care of people with diabetes and was named by Marin Magazine to the 2020 Bay Area [415] Top Doctors list. Dr. Neinstein is a renowned expert in diabetes technology and is a national speaker, peer-reviewed author, invited writer to outlets like CNBC and Medscape, and advisor to numerous companies.
Alice Raia, Chief Information Officer
InnovAge
Alice recently joined InnovAge as chief information officer. She leads strategy and development for data management, digital technologies integration, information technologies, and technical transformation. A member of InnovAge’s senior leadership team, she is based out of California. Alice has extensive experience with various healthcare and technology organizations, most recently as a member of the senior leadership team with Kaiser Permanente in California. There, she drove technology transformation in support of customers, members/patients, and the workforce, and was instrumental in leading sustainable and meaningful customer engagement, better health outcomes, increased loyalty, and higher patient satisfaction. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, she held leadership and technology roles at Blue Shield of California, Hewlett Packard, and Apple, among others. She holds a master of science degree in management from Purdue University and a bachelor of science degree in management from Miami University.
John Frager, Partnerships & Value Based Care
Carbon Health
John is the Vice President of Partnerships at Carbon Health, a technology-enabled urgent care and primary care provider. John’s work includes leading health system affiliations, the national provider network, and value-based care programs. He has built and led teams at patient-, provider-, and enterprise-focused healthcare businesses in Silicon Valley, China, and Europe. John previously led marketing at Welkin Health and ran Health Products at GBI, where his team built decision support and clinical education tools for providers and technology-enabled disease management programs for patients.
Megan Zweig, Chief Operating Officer
Rock Health
As Chief Operating Officer, Megan Zweig leads the Rock Health Membership, research, and operations teams. Through thought partnership, the power of community, and market-leading research, her teams support enterprise clients advancing their digital health strategies via the startup innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining Rock Health, Megan worked at The Advisory Board Company, where she led the Physician Executive Council, a best-practice research membership supporting Chief Medical Officers at over 1,300 hospitals and health systems. Megan received an MBA from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she graduated valedictorian of her executive MBA class in January 2020. She also graduated cum laude from Duke University, earning a B.A. in public policy studies with a focus on health policy.

She is a motivating leader and coach who excels at guiding her clients to achieve professional and personal growth. Carly is a certified SAFe Agilist and Lean Portfolio Manager. She earned her bachelor of science in entrepreneurial studies and her bachelor of arts in strategic communication from the University of Minnesota.
