Freed Associates News
March 2024 Edition

Over the past 20 years, progress in several key areas of healthcare quality has been slow: linking healthcare payments to outcomes, emphasizing preventative care, and taking a whole-patient approach to health. In 2022, the CalAIM initiative began reforming California healthcare in an effort to take patient-centered health to the next level by further integrating care for Medi-Cal enrollees with social services. Now, entering year three of this initiative, our consultants and clients have been hard at work implementing a series of key reforms.

In this newsletter, give you a chance to hear how one healthcare organization is achieving CalAIM success. We’ll also share how Managed Care Plans can maximize the benefits of working with their community-based partners. And we’ll tell you how we helped one client save $21.4 million in just one year through enhanced care coordination.

In addition to these insightful resources, I have some company news to share. I’m very proud and grateful to announce that Freed Associates has once again been recognized as a Great Place to Work. We put a lot into maintaining a values-driven culture that supports our employees so that they, in turn, can take care of our clients. Thank you to our employees for your commitment and dedication.

Best,
