As we enter spring there’s a bit of cautious and very welcome optimism across California and throughout the nation in terms of the pandemic. Healthcare continues to grapple with workforce challenges, health equity, and creating a positive consumer experience. As the industry evolves to handle these challenges, so does Freed Associates.
I’m delighted to announce an important addition to the Freed team, Dr. Chris Jaeger, our newest Vice President, Client Solutions. Dr. Jaeger brings decades of experience to Freed, both as a practicing physician and as a respected leader in healthcare. He is known for being a change agent with deep experience in leading large-scale care delivery transformations and advising on policies and programs that improve access to care, equity, and quality. Get to know Chris in this edition of our newsletter as he shares perspectives on health equity, value-based payments, and workforce burnout.
I am looking forward to our hosted panel webinar with industry experts coming later this spring, focused on the theme of taking a human-centered approach to improving the healthcare consumer experience. In this issue of our newsletter, we’ll also share two case studies. The first details how Freed was able to help a client handle the challenge of achieving critical visibility into daily work performance across a virtual workforce. The second demonstrates how we helped a major health system save $1 million by moving 50+ outpatient clinics to a state-of-the-art medical office building.
Best,
Dava Freed
