With over 20 years of working in the healthcare industry, Alan has provided steady and highly informed strategic counsel to large health systems, major medical groups, and health plans with complex and vital healthcare system implementation needs. Alan has the ability to foresee, and articulate client needs based on the rigor of his data analysis and his perceptive people skills. He has extensive experience identifying opportunities to enhance business practices through technology and works closely with his clients to ensure a smooth transition from project to operations.
Fulfilling leadership roles both within Information Technology and business areas, Alan enjoys being a bridge that brings disparate teams together. He has provided program leadership across a wide variety of areas, such as large-scale system implementations with integrations and data conversions, payer and provider federal compliance initiatives, clinical data warehouse and health information exchange (HIE) implementations, vendor selections, revenue cycle optimizations, and business process optimizations. Outside of work, Alan can be found hiking, vegetable gardening, and doing outdoor photography. Alan earned his Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. He is a certified SAFe Agilist.
